About Us
Our Story
We grew up together in a small town in Queens, NY where everyone knew each other. We were friends throughout our childhood and adolescent years, and as fate would have it, we fell in love several years later. We were raised with the same family values and tried to start a family of our own right away. Unfortunately, after many losses we were told we may never be able to have children of our own. Against all odds, we were blessed with a miracle baby and our family dream finally came true. We have a beautiful daughter named Ava who is now 5 years old. We have always wanted to grow our family and share the love, and now Ava is asking for that too. Every day she asks if she can please be a big sister. All we can say is we are trying. We hope and pray that one day we can fulfill her dreams of being a big sister and our dreams of growing our family, but if we can’t, we will continue to cherish every moment we have together.
Our Home
Our home is situated on a block full of children. We live in a two-story center hall colonial house which is warm and spacious. We have a large backyard with a pool, playground, patio, and fire pit. We love spending summer nights swimming, roasting marshmallows, or just relaxing with family, neighbors, and friends.
Matt
Matt is an amazing husband, father, and provider. Matt has a very strong work ethic and will accomplish anything that he sets out to achieve. He goes above and beyond for his family, friends, and colleagues. He is a jack of all trades and astonishes me every day with what he can accomplish. He has built us a beautiful home and is always working on a new project. When he is not working, he enjoys restoring old antiques into something new. Matt comes from a loving family who taught him the value of perseverance and hard work.
Mary
Mary is an amazing mother who strives to make sure her family is taken care of in every aspect. She is constantly seeking out new adventures, planning vacations, setting up play dates, organizing family fun nights, and volunteering with afterschool activities. She loves being around children and that is why she chose her career as a Kindergarten teacher. She is patient, nurturing, and loving. She is also a certified yoga teacher who brings some Zen into our lives, our home, and her classroom.
