About Us
Our Story
We first met on a dating app back in 2016. At the time we were both in our mid-20's and living in New York City. On our first date we both knew we were meant for eachother and have been together ever since. We got married in April of 2020 and now currently reside on Long Island, NY. Both of our families are only 15 minutes away and we spend most of our time together. We both come from large Irish Italian families and have five siblings amongst the two of us. We are the type of couple that love to just be together whether that is having date night's at our favorite local restaurant, staying in and re-watching our favorite movie series Lord of the Rings or walking through the park with our french bulldog Bosun. Ever since we met, we knew we wanted to become parents and build on our foundation of love through the blessing of a child. We hope one day that dream of ours comes true.
Our Home
We are very lucky to live on a quiet suburban block nestled in the middle of our town. Surrounded by our diverse and thriving community, we are close to our favorite park by the canal, local restaurants and our town hall. The park near our house has one of the largest playgrounds in the area including a long winding trail where we often like to take evening walks together. In the winter, the park turns into a winter-wonderland with many kids showing up with their sleds to ride down the many hills the park has to offer. One of our favorite neighborhood features is our close access to our local beach. Whether it is visiting the boardwalk to watch the seagulls or sitting in the sand near the ocean enjoying the sounds of the rolling waves, the beach has so much to offer especially in the summertime. When we don’t feel like visiting the park or beach we love hanging out in our quiet and peaceful backyard. Our backyard is surrounded by luscious trees, blooming flower beds and our frequent squirrel and bird visitors. There is plenty of space to runaround, have playdates, entertain family and friends and also the possibility to put up a swing set! We are so grateful to have such a vibrant community and neighborhood and hope to share it one day with a child of our own.

Hi there, I am Alanna and here is a little bit about me! I grew up in a large family of six on the south shore of Long Island, New York 15 minutes from the beach. Throughout my childhood, I spent most of my time down by the ocean surrounded by friends and family. When I wasn’t at the beach, I would be involved in a few hobbies like playing sports, listening to music and exploring nature. I really value my relationships with my family and friends and believe creating a foundation of love is so important in life. I luckily met my soulmate James in 2016 and we have built a happy life together on Long Island. Some of my interests now include going to the dog park with our family dog Bosun, having date & movie nights with James and spending time with our nieces (who only live 15 minutes away!). I has recently picked up a love of cooking and like to try out new recipes for dinner and on the weekends! I am currently working in the Commercial Financial industry in New York City.
James
Hello, I am James and here is a little about me! Like Alanna, I also grew up on the South Shore of Long Island in small beach town near the ocean. My childhood was spent fishing and boating with my father, going to the beach with my siblings and many cousins and playing baseball. One of my favorite memories growing up was racing to the Mr. Softee Ice Cream Truck from the beach to get chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. I currently enjoy cruising on our boat out on the water with Alanna and catching a nice sunset. I also like to take on home improvement projects and tend to the gardening around our home. My favorite flowers are spring lilac’s and summer hydrangeas. My love for the ocean lead me to my current career in the Maritime industry based in the metropolitan area.
