A Lovely Trip to Charleston
In May, Cade and I had the privilege of taking an extended getaway to the beautiful city of Charleston, South Caroline. The trip started off a little rocky with delayed flights and a sleepless night in the airport, but it was well worth it once we arrived!
We enjoyed three days taking in the amazing architecture, food, and sights. I (Isabel) could spend an unlimited amount of time anywhere on water, and Cade is a history buff, and Charleston was the perfect combination of both of those things.
The highlight of the trip was a carriage tour through the city with our tour guide, David, and horse, Brian. Brian was such a good boy navigating the cobblestone streets, and we learned a lot about the history of the city.
Taking a little bit of time away from the busyness of work was a real blessing, and it already got us thinking about our next destination. We look forward to taking children along on our adventures in the future!
