Our Story
In February 2015, I (Kimberly) found Hysun's profile on an online dating site. We had a 99% match and quickly fell in love. Two months later, Hysun proposed, quoting my favorite show, Doctor Who, promising "the trip of a lifetime together."
We had a small, perfect wedding with our kids, Caitlyn and Samuel, beside us. Though they're from my previous marriage, Hysun and the kids have an incredible bond. We've been a family for nine years working on building a wonderful life.
Weekly dinner dates and quality time together keep our relationship strong. The life we've built is our greatest accomplishment, and we're excited to grow our family through adoption.
Our Home
Our home is two stories with 4 bedroom on 6.5-acre in the Texas Hill Country and is our forever home. The spacious backyard is perfect for family adventures, with visiting wildlife like armadillos, deer, and roadrunners. Nearby cows and antelope add to the peaceful charm.
Stargazing by the fire pit and outdoor cookouts create unforgettable memories. This rural heaven is ideal for nurturing childlike wonder, fostering family bonds, and embarking on cherished adventures – moments we can't wait to share with an adopted child.
The local town offers an abundance of family-friendly activities, from chalk art festivals and outdoor concerts to movie nights and parent-child dances. The local theaters provide cultural enrichment, while the Guadalupe River invites picnics and playtime.
We feel blessed to create lasting memories in this idyllic setting, tailored for nurturing family connections and childlike curiosity amidst natural beauty.

As an information security professional and former Marine, I have always been passionate about technology and the pursuit of knowledge. With three degrees under my belt and currently working on a second master's, I am a firm believer in the power of continuous learning and personal growth.
While my career in cybersecurity is fulfilling, my greatest source of joy comes from the precious moments spent with my family. Whether we're exploring new worlds through movies, shows, or engaging in friendly competition during game nights, I cherish the bond we share and the memories we create together.
Our Christian faith is the bedrock upon which our family is built. It guides us to live with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to spiritual growth. I strive to lead by example, showing our children the importance of faith, kindness, and compassion in all aspects of life.
My ultimate dream is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where our children can thrive, discover their unique passions, and fearlessly pursue their dreams. With patience, understanding, and unwavering love, I am dedicated to guiding them through life's joys and challenges, celebrating their successes, and helping them learn from their setbacks. Together, we will create a home filled with laughter, learning, and endless possibilities.

Growing up in a military family blessed me with a kaleidoscope of experiences and adventures. Through each move, the unwavering love and support of my family remained constant.
One of my best friends was my mother, who homeschooled me from 6th grade through graduation. Her nurturing guidance instilled in me a profound love for learning that I now share with my own children.
I find joy in reading, crafting, and hiking in nature. Game nights with family and friends are some of my most cherished memories.
Homeschooling my children has allowed me to foster their curiosity and provide them with enriching, self-directed learning experiences. Volunteering with animal rescues, particularly bottle-feeding tiny kittens, has filled my soul in unimaginable ways.
My deepest aspiration is to create a home overflowing with warmth, love, learning, creativity, and joyful laughter. Welcoming a precious child through adoption would be the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream, and I am excited to embrace the incredible journey of nurturing and guiding a new little heart through life's adventures.
