About Us

Our Story

Our story begins with our mutual love of sports, bowling in particular and a little help from fate. I was in a bowling league with a couple who turned out to be Brian’s best friend’s parents. We started chatting online and then finally got together and never looked back.

Even though we had extremely different childhoods and upbringings, I am the daughter of a career military man so I moved around a lot, Brian has remained in the same area his entire life, we have the same values and desires to become parents.

We've been together for over 13 years now and every year gets better and better. We've started travelling every 2 years and can't wait to share that with our child. We enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going to sporting events, doing puzzles, going to zoos and aquariums, going to parks with our dogs or just chilling on the couch with our 3 dogs watching TV.

Our Home

photo of adoptive family's home We bought our beautiful 3br home a little over 5 years ago in a better school district than we were in, in anticipation of having kids. We are on a quiet tree-lined dead-end street and all the neighbors are so friendly, waving and stopping to chat as they walk by. We have a large front and back yard that kids would love to play in. We over look a wooded area in the back so we enjoy sitting on the deck or even eating dinner out there after grilling, and watching all the wildlife that come to visit, such as deer, bunnies, groundhogs, chipmunks and birds of many varieties.
There are numerous parks around to go bike riding, walking and exploring, and we can't wait to share all of this with a child of our own.

Donna

adoptive family photo - Donna Hello! A little about me. I grew up in a family where my father was a career military man, so we traveled and lived many places which I do miss. I mean how many 8-year-olds can say they went skiing in the Alps in Austria! After my dad retired from the service we moved to PA, and I have been here ever since. Even when they moved to CA for a few years I stayed here since it was the first time I actually put roots down somewhere.

I am a very supportive, understanding and loyal person to not only my family but my friends as well. Everyone knows I have their back whenever needed. I am always available with a listening ear or shoulder to cry on when needed.

I have always loved kids. I taught 2–3-year-olds for 18 years and loved every second of it. I have this uncanny ability to calm any child down no matter what the situation. I have so much love to give a child and would raise them to be supportive and compassionate of everyone and accepting just as I would be of them and their choices. I can't wait to share all my travel stories and experiences with our child and hopefully make new memories with them by discovering new places.

Brian

adoptive family photo - Brian Hi there! I am Brian. I am a very laid back, easy going person. Even though I like to joke around, I am serious and supportive when the circumstance calls for that.
I am always available for my friends and family when needed.

I have always wanted to be a father, to share everything with my child such as my love of hockey, our love of Disney, our traditions that we have established over the years and the memories made on our trips together.

I hope to raise our child to be the best version of themselves, support them no matter who or what they want to be. I would make sure they could come to us no matter what the situation is and would have our unconditional love and support.
